Venture Properties are an award-winning estate agent in County Durham with offices in Darlington, Chester-le-Street, Durham, Crook and Cockerton.
Established for almost 20 years, Venture have 5 offices and over 40 members of staff who matchmake customers with dream properties.
Venture Properties covers the whole of market and offers the full range of services to meet your property needs, from sales to lettings, property management to mortgages.
Hush Digital have worked with Venture Properties for over a decade now, with this latest project being our third website collaboration together.
The previous two websites that we created for Venture were build on the WordPress platform, which was the right solution for the estate agent’s needs at the time however those needs had grown and developed, and a more powerful supporting framework was required to meet all of Venture’s digital requirements including third-party software integrations.
Venture therefore required a new website to showcase their range of property services, a fresh and modern design that would engage target users and encourage them to browse and enquire, and a powerful back-end that catered for all of the technical needs of the new site.
Hush delivered a bespoke design and a powerful CMS built on the flexible Laravel framework with seamless Vebra integration.
The old design had become outdated so a complete overhaul was crafted by Hush’s design team, delivering a simple, easy-to-use and modern front-end visual with bespoke templates for each page. We utilised a mobile first approach to ensure the new site was fully responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop devices to provide an excellent user-experience across a multitude of viewing platforms. The client’s recognisable branding was seamlessly integrated throughout, with supporting video, image and graphic design.
Due to the complex API development to seamlessly integrate third-party property management system Vebra, the best platform for the new Venture Properties website was the highly flexible Laravel framework. This system allowed the team at Hush to craft each required module exactly to Venture’s needs, and develop and integration the Vebra API to enable this third-party to automatically feed properties onto the website. Not only is Laravel highly flexible, it is also completely future-proof for further developments and integrations further down the line.
The result was a beautiful new website for the local estate agent, showcasing the latest properties via a seamlessly integrated feed and powerful supporting CMS that the client can easily log into to manage the site content on an ongoing basis.
